IAN is a Director/Cinematographer that is currently based in Kuala Lumpur. He is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University (L.M.U), Los Angeles, with a B.A. in Film & Television Production. His short films received a total of 10 nominations and 3 awards (Best Produced Screenplay, Silver Lion Award, Student’s Choice Award) at the University’s highly competitive film festival. 

Following his formal education he continued his pursuit of filmmaking gaining experience in the film industry. His industry experience spans across the globe in three different regions - Los Angeles, Singapore, & Malaysia.

He brings with him an extensive wealth of experience in both Directing & Cinematography. Ian has commercially directed for major brand names & continues his pursuit for directing & writing narratives. His skills as a Cinematographer are highly technical. He has a strong background in lighting having worked  in the lighting department during the early stages of his career.  

He has a love for 35mm film photography & hopes to one day develop his own color film negatives.

DEBBIE is the Executive Producer for Midnight:30. Her 7 years of industry experience includes working at a major production house and as a freelance producer. 

Her extensive repertoire of brand names that she has produced for speaks for itself. With names that include but are not limited to: Nikon, Petronas, Volvo, Danone, Sensodyne & many more. 

Having produced shoots across the board - from lower budget shoots to large budget projects, she is highly versatile in her approach to filmmaking. There is rarely a production problem that she has yet to encounter. If there is a problem to solve she embraces it as a creative challenge and is sure to come up with unique solutions.

Embracing the advancements of technology in the industry, Debbie is currently expanding her skillsets to include producing virtual production sets (film sets where locations are established in a digital photo realistic environment). She will soon be able to take on shoots as a virtual production producer & supervisor.
